Clinical Workflow

This course introduces the baseline rules for working with clinical context: which data are actually needed, how to protect patient safety, how to prepare risk notes, and when a situation must be escalated for broader review. It helps build a shared language across clinical, scientific, and review roles.

Audience Clinical teams, scientific staff, and participants working with clinical safety questions
Duration 5 hours
Format 2 learning modules, 1 practical exercise, final quiz

What the Course Covers

Block Content
Module 1 The minimum necessary clinical dataset and the rules for working with de-identified materials
Module 2 Preparing safety notes, escalation conditions, and the correct handoff of a question for review
Practical exercise The participant assembles a de-identified training packet and shows how clinical risks are reflected in it
Final quiz 10 questions, 85% passing score

After the Course You Will Be Able To

  • separate clinically important information from excess data;
  • prepare short, clear safety notes;
  • understand when a local decision is sufficient and when escalation is needed;
  • maintain a common standard for disciplined work with clinical context.

How the Course Runs

This course uses the IHA (Instant Health Assessment — a series of papers on instant health assessment that the platform’s terminology partly derives from) terminology for instant health assessment, runtime evidence, and the clinical validation boundary.

Course Boundaries and What Comes Next

The course confirms baseline readiness to work with clinical context in training and pilot scenarios. It does not replace the authority of a clinical lead and does not grant independent approval to make deployment decisions. A Course Badge is not a Program Certificate and not delivery eligibility: both remain separate steps — see “What Happens After a Program” on the training hub.
