Knowledge Approval Program
This program assembles the route for clinical and governance approvers who need to review knowledge changes not by intuition, but by explicit grounds, limitations, and risks. It connects the product frame, the review process, clinical operating order, and the ability to stop a risky transition in time.
| Fact | Value |
|---|---|
| Catalog queue | Second queue (P2) (training-program launch queue) |
| Audience | Clinical approvers, governance reviewers, and safety owners |
| Structure | 6 required courses and a capstone |
| Result | Program Certificate for approval readiness |
| Delivery profile | Approval-authorization profile, separate from delivery execution |
What the Program Provides
- a shared language for reviewing knowledge changes and assessing their impact;
- an understanding of how the clinical stream connects to a governed review process;
- the ability to stop a transition in time when readiness is incomplete or risk is high;
- readiness to document decision rationale and the events needed for later audit.
How the Program Is Assembled
| Program layer | Included courses | What this layer provides |
|---|---|---|
| Base layer | Foundations (C-FND-01), Safety Kernel (C-FND-02) | The overall platform picture, the boundaries of safe statements, and the distinction between preparation and real approval |
| Profile preparation | Knowledge Model (C-KNW-01), Governance Workflow (C-KNW-02), Clinical Governance (C-CLN-01) | Preparation and review of a knowledge change, clinical governance, and the relevant review lanes |
| Operational completion | Incident Drill (C-RUN-03) | Work with stop conditions, refusals, and re-entry after remediation |
Required Courses
- Foundations (C-FND-01) — the starting frame of the platform and its boundaries
- Safety Kernel (C-FND-02) — safe wording about readiness, entitlement, and delivery
- Knowledge Model (C-KNW-01) — preparation of a change from validated sources
- Governance Workflow (C-KNW-02) — acceptance criteria and the governed review process
- Clinical Governance (C-CLN-01) — clinical queues, roles, and safety escalation
- Incident Drill (C-RUN-03) — stop conditions and re-entry after remediation
Capstone
The capstone reviews a proposed change, records the decision rationale, limitations, approval conditions, and the events required for later audit. The participant must show not only the decision itself, but the logic by which it was reached.
The program aligns knowledge approval with semantic authority, closure evidence, and governed release readiness.
Program Boundaries and What Comes Next
The Program Certificate confirms readiness to review and approve knowledge changes. It does not replace a real release, does not grant automatic permission to proceed, and does not remove the need for separate approvals. Delivery eligibility requires two more artifacts — site binding and a paid license — see “What Happens After a Program” on the training hub.
- What Happens After a Program — three access artifacts for delivery eligibility
- Delivery Overview — components and checkpoints
