Foundations
This course provides the starting frame for working with HealthOS ICU. It explains how the platform combines deterministic rules, decision traceability, and a safe separation between training, operations, and delivery. The course is intended for everyone entering the project for the first time and needing a shared understanding of its boundaries.

After the Course You Will Be Able To
- explain how HealthOS ICU differs from black-box AI systems: the difference is not a refusal to use models but where they sit relative to the approval boundary;
- distinguish training, a Program Certificate, access entitlement, and delivery;
- understand which supporting materials are needed to verify actions and decisions;
- spot wording that creates a false impression of automatic approval.
How the Course Runs
This course uses the IHA (Instant Health Assessment — a series of papers on instant health assessment that the platform’s terminology partly derives from) terminology for instant health assessment, runtime evidence, and the clinical validation boundary.

The Course Badge confirms completion of foundational training and the practical exercise. It does not grant delivery rights, automatic deployment approval, or replace separate organizational and technical checks.
