Release Operations Program

This program assembles the route for teams that work adjacent to delivery execution and operations but must hold a clear boundary between technical coordination, commercial access, and risk control. It connects the platform’s base frame, runtime signals, incident stop conditions, and the multi-site stream.

Fact Value
Catalog queue Second queue (P2) (training-program launch queue)
Audience Release operators, runtime owners, and coordinators of key operations
Structure 6 required courses and a capstone
Result Program Certificate for release operations readiness
Delivery profile Release-operations profile, subject to authorization

What the Program Provides

  • an understanding of how the operational and release stream around the platform is structured;
  • the ability to assemble a state snapshot and reconstruct events from logs;
  • readiness to stop a transition when readiness is incomplete or risk is elevated;
  • an understanding of multi-site constraints and delivery conditions.

How the Program Is Assembled

Program layer Included courses What this layer provides
Base layer Foundations (C-FND-01), Audit Replay (C-RUN-02) The overall platform picture and baseline event traceability
Profile preparation Runtime Operations (C-RUN-01), Incident Drill (C-RUN-03) Everyday runtime operations, stop conditions, and re-entry after remediation
Operational completion Delivery Eligibility (C-DLV-01), On-Prem Multi-Site Delivery (C-DLV-03) The boundary between release preparation and delivery, and the specifics of the on-prem multi-site stream
How the release Operations Program is put togetherFive program steps: Base layer → Release preparation → Capstone → Program Certificate → Separate delivery track. The dashed node marks the area outside training.Base layerReleasepreparationCapstoneProgramCertificateSeparatedelivery track
The dashed frame is the delivery track: it starts after the certificate and is outside training.

Required Courses

Capstone

The capstone is a dry-run release-operations packet with state checks, supporting materials, stop conditions, and incident-response entry points. The participant must show not only how to move a step forward, but how to stop the process safely when needed.

The program aligns release operations with governed release, evidence-of-fact receipt, continuous chain of trust, and deployment admission.

Program Boundaries and What Comes Next

The Program Certificate confirms readiness for release operations and completion of the capstone. It does not imply automatic delivery rights, does not replace separate authorization, and does not substitute for a decision to activate a site. Delivery eligibility requires two more artifacts — site binding and a paid license — see “What Happens After a Program” on the training hub.
